Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the best laptop brands 2022?

The best laptops brands have surely changed over the years. This is because technology has advanced so much and competition rules. In the past, there were only a handful of laptop brands now you can choose from, but still, there are top leading brands in this industry.

I did my research from online reviews from customers and also laptop experts to determine top brands of laptops in the United States. The list includes best laptop brands in the world.

These brands are among the best brands for laptops:

  • Apple
  • HP
  • Toshiba
  • Dell
  • HP
  • Asus
  • Lenovo
  • Samsung
  • Acer
  • Sony
  • Microsoft
  • Philips
  • Fujitsu

These are top-leading computer brands of laptops. You can trust the quality of their products and products warranties.

Is Dell or HP better?

I have to admit I’m a Dell guy. I like their products and have used them for years. I’ve also built computers for years and always recommend and build Dell computers. My son just got a new laptop and I had to Double Check the Dell website to confirm that I did not buy it. I’m not saying the other companies are bad, just that I prefer Dell.

Dell’s prices are somewhat higher than others but the quality is better. Based on our experience, my wife and I always recommend Dell for computers. I myself have a laptop and a desktop from them. To each their own though. It’s your decision after all.

Which is No 1 brand in laptop?

Two of the most reputable laptop brands are Acer and Dell. Both are excellent companies that offer diverse products, along with a good customer service team to support them. That said, there are a number of other quality brands out there like Asus, Toshiba, Sony, and Samsung, to name a few.

I have had good experiences with all of the above-mentioned brands, except Acer. A few years back, I purchased an Acer laptop through them that had to be returned three times (the same issue kept coming up). They were all refurbished laptops when I purchased them, so I can’t even imagine what the deal is with customer support on new laptops. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and in the case of Acer, it seems like it’d be a lot of headache for not a lot of money saved.

Conclusion

When selecting the best laptop brands to consider, you should weigh the reasons for which you are purchasing a laptop. There are many things to consider, like budget, preferred operating system, and application use. If you are looking for a laptop for school work and simple web use, we recommend Apple. Although writing a 10 page paper for your philosophy class might be easier on MacOS, the cheap Windows computers are more than capable of running the bare minimum your collegiate career will call for. Laptops for college students are usually just word processing or essay writing machines, and do not need to have huge amounts of memory, storage, or a heavyweight operating system.
