This is a great little knife. It has a 3 3/4" blade which is not the choicest of material but it's obvious that the blade is the secondary function of this knife. The brass navy eagle head as well as the rest of the etching on the blade is reminiscent of the old Nazi skin diver knives.
The knife is sturdily constructed with quality big faceted 6-pointed brass stars and crosses. There are 3 of them which are not equal. The 2 on the sides are each 1 1/2" and are asymmetrical. The one on the pommel is a bit larger, a bit more central and is nearly rectilinear.
The brass looks great on this knife. It's smooth and shiny. It's a dark brass color and the darker parts have a bit of a reddish hair like tint to them, perhaps from salt water exposure. The darkening is very attractive and means that it will likely look better over time.
The grip is made of black checkered rubber. It looks and feels great – excellent ergonomics; it makes a perfect point. The grip is 1 1/2" wide. The grip feels nice but does collect some moisture and then will get slick.
